Description
San Antonio sculptor Danville Chadbourne juried the Del Mar College Department of Art and Drama's National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show in 2008 and now returns as an exhibitor with nearly 40 pieces on display.

The artist has exhibited extensively at state and national levels with works residing in public and private collections, and he has several outdoor public sculpture pieces placed throughout San Antonio. Primarily a sculptor in clay and wood, Chadbourne works in a range of materials and in both two- and three-dimensional formats.

He created the piece "The Literal Progeny of Circumstance" recently installed in Del Mar College's Fine Arts Center Sculpture Garden, which was made possible through the estate of former local artist Barbara McDowell.

Cain Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m. until noon on Fridays. The Sculpture Garden is open during the College's regular operational hours.

The exhibit "Recent Works" will remain on display through Dec. 9.
