H-E-B Pool Closed For 2008 City Bond Renovation Project

The City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Aquatics Program will keep H-E-B Pool (1520 Shely) closed to the public for pool renovations until expected completion date April 2010. This is part of the 2008 City Bond improve projects voted for by Corpus Christi residents. The renovations will provide the community with a new state-of-the-art aquatics center—complete with zero depth aquatic area, 4 ft. swim lanes, water slides, training/party room, concession, and area with water splash elements.

All other Corpus Christi public pools will be open for the summer starting May 23.

The Corpus Christi Aquatics Program offers many options such as general swim, lap swim, swim lessons, swim leagues, lifeguard courses, Dive-In Movies, Aqua Fitness, Adaptive Aquatics, GuardStart Camps, 2 Can Tuesdays, and Doggy Dip. Everyone is invited to pe in and enjoy themselves.
