BUC DAYS PRO RODEO RETURNS APRIL 24TH - 27TH

(February 4, 2008 – Corpus Christi, TX) Buc Days is turning 70 this year! The “Richest Little Rodeo in Texas” will be at AmericanBankCenter Arena April 24^th – 26^th at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 27^th at 2:00pm. Watch well-recognized PRCA Cowboys compete for the biggest Rodeo purse in Texas and see future cowboys and cowgirls take part in Mutton Bustin’ and Calf Scramble contests at the Buc Days Miller Lite Pro PRCA Rodeo.

Tickets on Sale February 9^th – 10AM

The rodeo begins with a Grand Entry, followed by: Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Bareback Riding, Mutton Bustin’, Tie-Down Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Calf Scramble, Team Roping and Barrel Racing. The rodeo ends with a second Bull Riding go-round!  

Tickets for the Buc Days Rodeo will be on sale beginning Saturday, February 9^th at 10:00am. Tickets are $8.00 - $75.00 and will be available at the American Bank Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at (361) 881-8499. All rodeo tickets include admission to the rest of Buc Days events including the Carnival and BBQ Challenge.

The Buccaneer Commission is a non-profit organization. Over 1000 volunteers, donors and sponsors contribute to the mission of providing South Texas fantastic entertainment as well as supporting the educational opportunities of area students. Each year, a $20,000 four-year scholarship is granted to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and numerous other academic and trade scholarships are distributed.
