CORPUS CHRISTI WEBSITE NAMED “BEST OF THE WEB” FINALIST


The City of Corpus Christi website, www.cctexas.com, has been named a finalist in the 2004 Best of the Web contest. The Best of the Web recognizes and celebrates the innovations and solutions that state and local government use in communicating well with citizens and businesses. The awards were presented by the Center for Digital Government, the premier resource on information technology policy, trends and opportunity in state and local government. There were more than 320 entries in this year’s contest. The City of Corpus Christi website was a finalist in the “City Portal Category.” The winners were announced in New York City last week during the Ninth Annual Best of the Web Award Dinner and Banquet.
