January 2003 - The City of Corpus Christi Park & Recreation Department’s Multicultural Services invites you to a soup cooking demonstration on January 14, 2004 from 10:30 am – Noon in the kitchen of the Galvan House in Heritage Park. Join Dana Crawford, as she presents a class on how to prepare Chicken Veggie Soup, Broccoli Cheese Soup and Potato Soup.

Dana currently has two cookbooks published: The Sensible Cook and The Diabetic’s Meal Plans. As Natural Health Counselor, Dana represents Natural Weight Programs and Natural Weight Clubs. Cost is $5 per person and includes the demonstration, recipes and food samples. Seating is limited; call 883-0639 to RSVP.

The Multicultural Center is located in the beautifully restored Galvan House in Heritage Park at 1581 N. Chaparral.
