Corpus Christi Texas - Kids in The Kitchen is a learn-to-cook program developed at Joe Garza Recreation Center (3204 Highland) for children ages 6-16. Each Wednesday from 4pm –5pm, kids are taught recipes that are easy, safe and fun so that youth can learn to enjoy making meals for their friends and family. Youth are also taught safety as well as food groups, nutritional balance and easy preparation. Cost is $.50 per day.
