Come join us at HEB PLUS located off Saratoga from 6am to 7pm on Friday, December 12th as we stage a massive toy collection effort and fill the U.S. Marine semi truck as part of the 2008 Toys for Tots campaign in Corpus Christi. This day long toy collection spectacular features all of Clear Channel’s on-air personalities, local celebrities, music, food and fun for both toy donors and volunteer participants.
U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children all over the coastal bend. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
