The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History announces that its newest permanent exhibit, Corpus Christi History will be previewed by Museum members, City Council members, former Mayors and Council members and other invited guests. The preview opening will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2002 at the Museum of Science and History, 1900 N. Chaparral Street.

Museum Director Rick Stryker sees the exhibit as a three-dimensional learning experience about the history of Corpus Christi. He says, “visitors viewing the exhibit will be able to trace the history, culture, and geography of Corpus Christi through 150 years.”

Funding for the exhibit was provided by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation, the Prichard Family Foundation, and the Friends of the Corpus Christi Museum.
